Ever since I can remember, I have never watched a film solely based on the superficiality of a television or cinema image. Beyond that image and its technicality, beyond the words and their meaning was where my interests have lay. And so after completion of my G.C.S.E equvialents in India, I went back to England to pursure this interest in Film. I took A levels in Film, Media, English and Drama and went on to be accepted into Queen Mary, University of London. This year in July, I graduated with a second class honors in the upper division with a BA in Film Studies.

As part of my degree and otherwise, I have directed, scripted, production/Art Designed and technically worked on short films and documentaries.

In my first year of University, I wrote and directed a short film Titled 'See.You,Me."

My Work Experience in Film while at University

While at University, I rediscovered the real reason I wanted to pursue a path down film...I wanted to write.

I have written a number of original short films. These include:

'Cul-de-Sac'- An estranged couple Susannah and Mark drive home from an engagement party of one of their mutual friends. While they argue about what happened between them, a series of road signs, incidents and pedestrians, seem to be unconsciously  fore-shadowing their future. Will their relationship have a smooth run? Or have they reached a dead end...?

'Oblivion'- As a child, Harvey was the sole witness to the murder of his mother. Determined to hunt the killer down, he works hard and grows up into a successful FBI agent. Everything is going for him: his job, his wife, his son. But Harvey can't escape the demons of his past. When a series of murders strike the city, Harvey needs to face his past to solve the case. But how much can Harvey take before he cracks? Who will he see, when he looks in the mirror.

During my A levels, I was assigned to write an original synopsis of a feature length film and also write a screenplay for a section of it. I wrote the pen-ultimate climax for an original idea for a feature titled 'To kill or not to kill'. My screenplay was nominated for best original screenplay by an AS student at the Oldham Sixth Form College Oscar awards.

At the end of my ALevels, I won the Subject Prize for Film Studies.

While at Sixth Form, I was also handpicked for the AIM HIGHER program in film and media and went on to participate in the UK MOVING SKILLS COMPETITION.
